THE SHIRT and THE TIE does not belong to the male-wearer. It is HIGHER than the man who wears it, and comes from God. It is equipment for disciplining the man and making him smart. It does not belong to him. This is selfish and arrogant for him to claim it or own it as his personal status symbol of being exclusively his privilege, or "belonging to the club". This elitism associates the shirt and tie to the male bodily sexuality as a qualification for wearing it rather than it being an answer (a discipliner) to that male sexuality. This leads to men thinking having a certain stereotyped level of maleness is what qualifies or disqualifies the owner of the shirt and tie for wearing it.
No, the shirt and tie should be accepted by all men, as something that does not belong to them as "their own exclusive thing" because it is higher than them.
It is a tool that they need to wear for having male-discipline and they need to strive to live up to it. It is God's gift to all men, all males, not just a select few. How selfish of some men to think it's exclusively THEIR thing. It is not an exclusive entitlement. Or for business men.
Natural men look like the collar sprouts from them, it does not, it's purpose is to restrict their neck making them look and feel smart. It's meant to feel uncomfortable but at the same time really really good and is meant to be worn every day. (WITH A TIE!)
You can tell when a man wears a shirt and tie as though it is his staus symbol than when he wears it as God's tool of discipline for him as he gives off a different ambiance and attitude.
The shirt and tie is HIGHER than the man and he must choose to have it IMPOSED on him.
When men get up in the morning they should KISS their shirt and tie and thank God for it and look at it on them throughout the day being thankful for being allowed to have it fully cooperating with what it imposes on them.
Men who think it is theirs and not another mans are arrogant mean and nasty and in rebellion against God.
Most British Shirt and Tie wearing men in the 60's 70's 80's and 90's have been arrogant owners of it thinking they are better than other men who they say aren't entitled to be wearing it. This is criminal.
When a British man sees another man wearing a shirt and tie, he should think "Mate, God wants you to have it, it looks good on you mate!" (i.e. be encouraging) rather than saying or asking "who do you think you are?! Wearing that." Which is what a lot of arrogant British men have been guilty of. Or, those men who say "i'm wearing a shirt and tie because I'm entitled to it, it's mine." or even "it's my right but not yours mate.- not yours mate, mine.!" this is criminal. Prince Charles used to come across like this! No wonder other British men followed suit! (whether Prince Charles was actually guilty of this or not, I don't know, but that is how he used to come across.)
(Women think wrongly too. Many women see a man in a shirt and think "you're wearing a mans shirt, or you're wearing your shirt" - they have said this to me. Instead they should think "you're wearing GOD'S shirt, or you're wearing what God has for you, to help you in your life, not seeing it as their expectation or requirement to impose it on the man from the woman. (from the womans' point of view). I think women are unable to understand how a man feels about wearing a shirt because only a man with a man's body and male essentiality in his spiritual being and essence, can, (some women have male bodily traits but in their essence they are still female) (it is the difference of temper of gender that makes the difference not the level of sexual or bodily chemistry and constitution) but they can learn to understand that men have needs from God that only men themselves can appreciate.)
"Therefore the Valar may walk, if they will, unclad, and then even the Eldar cannot clearly perceive them, though they be present. But when they desire to clothe themselves the Valar take upon them the forms some as of male and some as of female; for that difference of temper they had even from the beginning, and it is but bodied forth in the choice of each, NOT MADE BY THE CHOICE; even as with us male and female may be shown by the raiment but is not made thereby."                - The Silmarillion
(Raiment- refering to what your body is like, not just your clothes)
