Shame is a normal feeling and accusative state to find oneself in.
No matter who you are or what you have in life it is impossible to avoid the accusative sense of shame from time to time.
A lot of people respond wrongly to this transient passing state but if people know it is normal to feel worthless and useless they can take the viewpoint of hope.
It is wrong to read too much into feeling like this because it happens to everyone.
Knowing this allows us to say "Shame, shame!" in a compassionate understanding way rather than seeing it as a sentence of condemnation.
WHEN YOU FEEL SHAME THERE IS HOPE!
N.B. FEELING SHAME IS NOT THE SAME AS FEELING ASHAMED.
